Dr. Olapeju Adenusi

Dr Olapeju Adenusi is a Public health physician with over 2 decades experience in policy development and strategic planning, advocacy, programme management, development of training manuals/curriculum, training in MCH, HIV and AIDS at national, state and LGA levels in Nigeria. She holds an MBBS Degree from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Masters in Public Health from University of Lagos, Nigeria and Masters in Family Planning and Social Research from Mahidol University, Thailand. She has also undergone fellowships at the Bill and Melinda Gate Institute based in the Johns Hopkins University, Maryland, USA and the Population Leadership Program (PLP), in University of Washington, Seattle, USA.

Dr. Adenusi has an in-depth working knowledge of population & development, reproductive healthcare and HIV/AIDS with vast experience in non-governmental organisations and international development agencies’ operations and procedures. She also has expertise in healthcare financing especially for “bottom of pyramid” populations. . As the CEO of Hygeia Community Health Plan, she is responsible for overall strategic direction of the organization in terms of policy and initiative development and is responsible for delivering on the corporate objectives of the organization.
